It is undeniable that we see too much violence in the media especially on television and computers. These too much exposure to violence caused by the media has negative effects on me. Too much exposure to violence in mass media leads us away from reality. It is because violence now becomes normal because we usually see it in the mass media. this report reminds me again to become sensitive to the effects of media violence. I must not become passive with regard to the violence that I see in media. It is good that the media presents to us the violence that is happening around us and this exposure to violence must lead us to act and to do something about it. You must get rid with the mentality that violence is normal, rather, this exposure to violence must motivate us to act.
In reality and media messages, there are two worlds that exist: the real world and the media world. Media presents in both fantasy and reality. Though that is the case, media world is in real world but it will never be reality. Anything that is shown to us in the media is not the entire reality, it is just part of the reality.
Piracy and privacy is one of the most crucial issues on the mass media. It is one of the major problems in the mass media. Although there are already laws about piracy but still it is inevitable to avoid it or to monitor those people who will go against the private interest. Thus, this report helps me to become inform again about these issues on privacy and piracy. Being inform to these issues motivates me to exert extra effort to protect my private property. Because being ignorant to these issues might cause problem to me later on like losing my privacy, identity and the like.
This reports reminds me once again that the influence of media on sports greatly affect me. Watching sports entertains me in one way or the other especially basketball. I really enjoy watching sports. Before I prefer to watch sports especially basketball on live because at first for me it is more exciting and challenging. It is undeniable that it is nice to cheer your favorite team together with the crowds. It is enjoyable before to watch the basketball on live together with other people shouting at the top of their voice. However, because of the progress in media, I found it practical especially this time to watch basketball on a television instead of watching it on live. Because of the development in mass media I preferred to watch it on television with all its effects than watching on live. i found it more convenience because i can relax at the same time enjoying watching my favorite sports. This was the effect to me of the influence of mass media on sports.
This short report simply invites me to share my knowledge or information about media literacy to others. By sharing my knowledge about this things will help others to increase their knowledge on media literacy as well. However, this report also challenges me to increase improve first my knowledge on media literacy so that I have something to share to others. It is because I cannot share what I do not have. I need also to make sure that the things that I am sharing to them will be useful to them and will not destroy them later on. That’s all.
This report invites me to increase my awareness and control with regard to the use of mass media. Because it would be a great help for me especially in widening my perspective in media literacy. I need to gain control especially when I am being exposed to mass media. I need always to become aware ay the same time of the good as well as the bad effects of media. In doing so it will improve my knowledge and this will help me to become media literate person.
This report makes me realize that the mass media contributed a lot in expanding our knowledge of so many things. in the mass media we are being expose to different perspectives and realities. In the mass media we can find different ideas that will help us in expanding our knowledge or information on the things that surround us. This exposure to mass media will give us different in formations of so many things both good and bad. All of these will help us in widening our perspective. Thus, the challenge for me is to make use of that useful information that I will see or get from the mass media in order for me to increase my knowledge of the different realities that surrounds me.
The television has different effects in our society. It can affects different institutions in the society such as families, politics, religion and the like. The television like other social means of communication is neutral. This can be used in either good or bad manner. It can affect the people in good and bad ways. One of the bad effects of television in the family as it is being mentioned by the reporter is that, it lessens the conversation among the family members. This is true even in our family. I remember those times that we eat together as one family at the same time it also the time for us to check the situation of each members of the family. However, rise of technologies started to change this tradition of our family. 
I thought that there are only one people who owns and controls the mass media. But this report enlightens me in this matter. This report gives me idea that media is owned and control by different people. In this report I also learn the important role of Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The CEO is the person who makes major decision in a company. I learned also that ownership and control are not the same. We can control something which we cannot own at the same time we own many thing but we cannot control. Thus, there is a need of people to control it for you.
